"This place is a delight! The rooms were comfortable and the decor was charming and tailored to the rooms theme. The hostess is lovely and provided a fantastic breakfast for us in the main parlour. As part of our stay we were also treated to a solo theatre performance by the hostess, held in the original cottage that occupied the site. As guests of the B&B, our tickets were discounted but I would encourage everyone staying in Richmond to witness this fantastic show. I highly recommend this property and would love to go back ."

Mulberry Cottage(above) is an extraordinary copy cottage built in 2002, using the Old Hobart Penitentiary convict-cut stone wall, other reclaimed historic materials & early convict bricks made on the site. Comfortable, recently upgraded elegant studios with en-suites & private sitting rooms are in the Garden Wing(2006) containing: the Old English Suite, sleeps two, the French Boudoir, sleeps three. Christmas Cottage is a self-contained cottage in a lovely corner of the garden with a "Gorgeous valley view". Upstairs in the main house, two tiny Attics take four. Attics are only let at the discretion of the owner - please contact first, or for booking children under 10 in any part of the accommodation. If the booking calendar is full you might possibly still be accommodated, please enquire.
