Mulberry Cottage(left) is an extraordinary reconstruction of the Old Penitentiary convict-cut stone wall, other reclaimed historic materials and early convict bricks made on the site. Beautiful, recently upgraded studios with en-suites & private sitting rooms are in the Garden Wing: the Old English Suite, sleeps two, the spacious French Boudoir, sleeps three. Upstairs two Attics take four, or Christmas Cottage (bottom left) a self-contained cottage, takes four but can squeeze up to six.* Show closed from 10th June to 23rd July
Great base for Hobart(23k), the South, Port Arthur and the East Coast. Great start or end to your trip round Tasmania. Only 200m walk from Australia's oldest bridge.15mins to the airport. Ideal for honeymoon, wedding venue or romantic retreat. Not good for wheelchair access, sorry!
